Culture and Identity have always been important to me. A first generation American and Los Angeles native, I grew up in a multi-cultural environment, which increased my sensitivity to cultural landscapes. My goal in my photography is to paint a picture of my personal story and perceptions. Through extreme light conditions or cross-processing, I push colors to express my experience of a moment, whether it is to express an abstract feeling, or to express my delight in the American landscape.
